History:

Luke Smith started Frostytour.co.uk back in 2003, as away for friends to share their ski holiday pictures, and so, the gallery part of the website began. It stayed that way for a number of years. In 2005 Ed Smith (lukes brother) went on his first Ski Trip, where he found that fellow holiday makers, also wanted to see and share the photos, and videos he and Andy aka 'The Bear' took. So, plans were hatched in the winter of 2006 to expand the site; to offer reviews, videos, resort information and forum. Frostytour.co.uk became a source for fellow skiiers and boarders to find out what resorts the FrostyTour team visited were really like, and to find information about them all in one place. Its simple, we visit a ski resort, we tell you about our experiences, we share all the information in one place! - easy.

In Jan 2007 FrostyTour.co.uk was launched with its new look and content. Laurence, Amy, and Andy joined, and every ski trip we have been on has been added to this site. Between 2007 and 2009 the site was gradually tweaked, and Frostywear.co.uk and Frostygear.co.uk were launched to offer the ski/ boarder enthusiasts, branded snow inspired clothing and miniature extreme video cameras.

FrostyTour.co.uk only reviews and adds resorts to its main pages that its team have been too - Although anything snow related can be discussed in the forum.

Hopefully the information provided on this site will inspire you to try out skiing, and help you decide what ski resorts you might want to visit.

In March 2009 Frostytour.co.uk got a facelift and a new engine - Frostytour 2.0. This enables us more flexability in generating and creating content for the site. It also gives you our viewers an easier way to navigate the site and participate with us. Heres to the future and happy skiing!

Frostytour.co.uk is a hobby, we keep this site going for the love of skiing.
