There are 2 main ski areas in Andorra;

• Vallnord which covers the resorts of Arinsal, Pal and Arcalis
• Grandvalira which covers the resorts of Pas de la Casa, Soldeu and El Tartar

Vallnord resorts are mainly situated to the north of the country, and Grandvalira resorts are based towards the south of the country.

The capital of Andorra is Andorra La Vella, which has a large tax free shopping area, and also the Caldea Spa, housed in a modern church like structure.

There are no airports in Andorra so most tourists come in via Spains, Barcellona airports or from the France side via Toulouse. Both taking approx 3.5hours travel by car.

The season normally begins 2nd week of December to April, with the snow normally reaching its peak in March.
